Over the years that I have lived in Calgary I have always been amazed by the sunsets that you can see over the Rocky Mountains. Up until these photos I haven’t been able to catch the blue haze over the mountains. I was either driving a car or when I did take the photos the blue just didn’t seem to show up. I took these photos with a Canon 7d using a 24-70 f2.8 lens hand held in the fall of 2016.
I plan to take more sunset photos from locations that have a different view of the mountains or maybe a little closer so the mountains dominate the photos more.
I didn’t make the photos that I thought I would. It is now June 2021. I will start working on some new sunset photos over the summer.
