Sailing Around Vancouver Island in 2014

In the fall of 2014 I joined a group of fellow sailors to take an offshore sailing course that circumnavigated Vancouver Island.  This trip took 14 days and covered over 700 miles.  We started and finished in the city of Nanaimo, BC the location of Nanaimo Yacht Charters who organized the two boat course.  We started out on beautiful fall day as we crossed the Straits of Georgea on a broad reach heading for Lasquite Island.
