Visit to Barkerville

In August of 2014 I spent a week in a small town called Wells, BC.  Only a few kilometres from Wells is the historic gold rush mining town of Baskerville.  This town has it’s beginnings in the 1860 when gold was found in an area called the Caribou.  Today the town is a restored historic site.  There are many period buildings.  There are many activities to do while in Baskerville including doing some gold panning or having lunch in a Chinese restaurant.
